WHAT IF – SO WHAT

People think I am crazy
Believing in everything between heaven and earth
People they think, that the craziest thing about me
Is the way I perceive things

People think I’m romantic
Believing that love can solve all the problems on earth
People they think that the most romantic thing about me
Is the way I perceive love

And what if my faith turns out to be a failure
What if my truth isn’t true?
What if the pilot turns out to be a sailor
What if the sky will never be constantly blue
Well in the meantime – I was happy
And so what?
Well in the meantime – my life was a magical journey
And so what – so what?

People think I am selfish
Believing my souls delight is my mission in life
People they think that the most selfish thing about me
Is the way I perceive souls

People think I’m superstitious
Believing my secret heart is a miracle monger
People they think that the most superstitious about me
Is the way I perceive hearts

And what if my faith turns out to be a failure
What if my truth isn’t true?
What if the pilot turns out to be a sailor
What if the sky will never be constantly blue

“Well you’d better watch out for what people might say”
But why should I care about words?
“Well you’d better watch out for what people might think”
But why should I care about thoughts?
“Well, then you’d better watch out for what’s comme il faut”
But why should I care about that
“Well then you’d better, you’d better watch over your own reputation”
But why should I care about that, when my heart says, that:

What if my faith turns out to be a failure
What if my truth isn’t true?
What if the pilot turns out to be a sailor
What if the sky will never be constantly blue
Well in the meantime – I was happy
And so what?
Well in the meantime – my life was a magical journey
And so what – so what?
