FATHER SUN

When I take a journey deep inside
Travelling to places where my soul resides
From time to time I bump into
A wall so hard I can’t get through
And in that wall a frightened child
Frozen in time

And there you come
Sweet father Sun
You’re melting all the ice to let the water run
And every cell in every me
Is shining bright so I can see
The best of life is yet to come
Sweet Father Sun

When I delve into the sacred now
Trying all my best to
Surrender and allow
From time to time I’m caught up in
Time to come and time that’s been
And in that trap I’m led astray
Losing my way

And there you come
Sweet father Sun
You’re melting all the ice to let the water run
And every cell in every me
Is shining bright so I can see
The best of life is yet to come
Sweet Father Sun
